Every Chattanooga house fills up in its own way. The Highland Park bungalow with a basement that never quite dries out. The Missionary Ridge place where the sleeper sofa went up the stairs twenty years ago and nobody has volunteered to bring it down since. The garage in Hixson that stopped fitting a car around the time the kids started T-ball. Our local crews carry it all out, give you an upfront price with no hidden fees, and can often haul it the same day. You point, we haul.
Homeowners call us at the moments when stuff has to move and there is no good way to move it yourself:
- Moving day is on the calendar and half the basement is not coming along
- Downsizing from the family house, and decades of furniture will not fit the new place
- A garage or carport packed to the rafters after years of putting it off
- The hard, slow work of clearing a loved one's estate
- One stubborn item: a sectional, a dead refrigerator, a mattress that will not fold into a sedan
We work the whole metro, from North Chattanooga and St. Elmo to East Brainerd, from Hixson and Red Bank up to Signal Mountain, Lookout Mountain, and the Ridgeside and Missionary Ridge homes where every job involves stairs. Homeowners stick with us for the upfront pricing with no hidden fees, and because we donate usable items and recycle materials before anything sees the county landfill. Need it gone today? We also run same-day junk removal across the area. One call or text is all it takes.
What a home cleanout actually looks like

Drag to compare. Illustrative example.
What Chattanooga Homeowners Can Expect
- A local team. When you call, you talk to the people who actually run the route, not a call center two time zones away.
- Upfront pricing. We and give you a price before we lift a single item.
- We do the lifting on any layout. Ridge-lot staircases, walk-up bungalows, tight basement steps, split-levels in Brainerd. If it goes down a staircase, we are the ones on the staircase.
- Same-day and next-day slots often open across Chattanooga and Hamilton County.
- We donate and recycle. Usable furniture and metals stay out of the county landfill whenever we can manage it.
- We clean up. We sweep the space and take the packaging with us, so the room is usable the minute we pull away.
What We Remove From Homes
If it came into the house, we can probably take it back out. Here is what we haul from Chattanooga homes week after week. Don't see your item below? Just ask. If it is non-hazardous and two people can lift it, we can almost always take it.
Furniture
Sofas, sectionals, recliners, love seats, beds (frames and headboards), dressers, chests of drawers, dining room tables, kitchen tables and chairs, bookcases, entertainment centers, coffee tables, end tables, and the recliner everyone agreed was on its way out years ago.
Appliances
Refrigerators, chest freezers, upright freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, stoves, ranges, window air conditioning units, dehumidifiers, and small appliances in bulk.
Electronics
Televisions of all sizes, desktop computers, laptops, monitors, printers, scanners, speakers, stereo equipment, VCRs, DVD players, gaming consoles, and other consumer electronics. We recycle materials where possible to keep hazardous items out of landfills.
Mattresses and Bedding
Mattresses, box springs, platform bed slats, futon frames and mattresses. River-town humidity is not kind to a mattress stored in a basement or a closed-up rental. It turns musty fast, and once it does, curbside pickup won't touch it. We carry it out and it leaves on the same trip.
Exercise Equipment
Treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, weight benches, free weights, weight sets, rowing machines, and home gym systems. Exercise equipment is heavy and awkward, and our crew handles it safely.
Yard Waste and Storm Debris
Brush piles, the limbs that came down the last time a summer thunderstorm rolled through the valley, leaves, grass clippings, old mulch, soil and rocks, landscaping timber, broken garden tools, rotted deck boards, outdoor furniture, grills, and lawn equipment.
Toys, Kids Items, and Miscellaneous Clutter
Toys, play sets, bikes, scooters, sporting equipment, boxes of clothing, books, holiday decorations, and the layer of general household clutter that seems to arrive on its own.
Garage Contents
Old tools, paint cans (properly sealed), lumber scraps, storage shelving, car parts, tires, storage boxes, and whatever else has been standing between your car and its parking spot.
Items We Typically Can't Take
For safety and to follow Hamilton County regulations, there are a few things we usually cannot haul:
- Wet paint, liquid chemicals, and hazardous waste
- Gasoline, propane tanks, and other flammables
- Asbestos-containing materials
Not sure if your item qualifies? Call and we will let you know right away.
Our Residential Junk Removal Process
No mystery, no fine print. Here is the whole thing, first call to final sweep.
- Call us. Tell us what needs to go. We talk through the items and your address, and set an appointment window that fits your day.
- We arrive on time with a local crew. A clearly marked truck, inside the window we agreed on. We call when we are 30 minutes out, so you are not stuck watching the driveway.
- We walk through together. Before anything moves, you point out what goes and what stays, and we make sure we heard you right. Then you get an upfront price based on the volume and type of items.
- We do all the heavy lifting and loading. Once you approve the price, we get to work and you do not touch a thing. Up from the basement, down from the attic, around the tight corner in the hallway. We protect your walls, floors, and doorframes as we go. Most standard residential jobs are finished within an hour or two once we start loading.
- We sweep up after. When the truck is loaded, we sweep or tidy the space where your items sat. No debris, straps, or packaging left behind. You get a visibly cleaner room as your starting point.
- We sort the load before the landfill. After the job, every load gets processed. Usable furniture and household goods go to local Chattanooga-area donation centers. Metals and electronics go to recyclers. Only what cannot be donated or recycled goes to the landfill.
How Residential Junk Removal is Priced
We price by how much of the truck your items fill, which means a single dresser costs a lot less than a whole basement. The final number depends on weight, item type, and how hard the haul is. We give you an estimate before we load a single thing, and you can see everything clearly before work begins. Want a ballpark before the crew comes out? Call and describe the load — the crew will give you an estimate on the spot.
Responsible Disposal, Not Just a Landfill Run
The truck that leaves your driveway does not drive straight to the Hamilton County landfill. Every load gets a sorting pass first.
Furniture, household goods, and usable items in decent shape are donated. The dresser that no longer fits your house may end up in one that needed it.
Metals, appliances, and electronics are recycled where possible instead of sitting in the ground upriver from everyone.
Only what cannot be donated or recycled ends up at the transfer station. We donate usable items and recycle materials first, every load, because a river town should be careful about what it buries.
